Eliminate A Source Of Cut Length Error

One source of cut length variation comes from establishing the length or position of the target.  For most applications, a rule and pointer are sufficient.  However, for critical applications, a more accurate system may be justified. The digital measuring system optimizes speed and accuracy.  This high-precision electronic device has a digital display unit and linear scale which eliminate visual measurement guesswork, and reduce machine setup time.  The read-out can be easily switched to provide output in decimal inch, millimeters or fractions (1/16, 1/32, 1/64).

Digital Option for New Core Cutters

The Digital Measurement System can be ordered as an optional accessory with new cutter models S210 Semi-Automatic, A301 Automatic, and A400 Automatic.

Digital Upgrade for Existing Core Cutters

• Recent models S200 Semi-Automatic, A300 Automatic, A350 Automatic and A360 Automatic
• As well as most older model "S" and "D" Cutters

Installation

This 4 hour procedure requires that the target tube be removed, holes drilled, and the scale mounted.  Tube supports in the cutter frame are also removed, holes drilled for brackets and the digital display mounted.  The wiring is straight-forward as the digital read-out is powered by two "AA" batteries in the display.
