Brake Adjustment
This adjustment is for autoloaders produced before January 2005 and used in conjunction with an A301
De-energize the Autoloader brake before performing the brake adjustment.
De-power and lockout the electrical and pneumatic power source before performing adjustment. Unexpected machine movement could result in personal injury such as cuts, loss of fingers or crushed fingers.
- Loosen the (4) brake pad screws as shown in figure 1.
- Using light pressure, hold the (2) brake pads against the brake rail. See figure 2.
- While holding the brake pads against the brake rail, retighten the (4) brake pad screws.
- Power up the core cutting system. When the brake is energized, check to ensure that the brake is holding properly.
